Course Reflection Narrative
Students who are preparing for their final Capstone experience and have chosen Spanish as their major need to take the course SPAN300, Capstone for Spanish Majors. The goal of this course is to assist me, my classmates, and the rest of the class in writing our Capstone proposals and to start the process of finishing my graduating e-portfolio. In this course my partner was Jazmin Mendoza Morales. After discussing what we wanted to focus our capstone on we both came to the conclusion that we wanted to focus on women during the Golden age. To help us with our research we focused our attention on a writer named Horacio Quiroga whose stories deal about women and how their lives were during the Golden Age. Our investigation's goal was successfully handled, research questions relevant to the issue were created, potential sources of information were found and reviewed, an effective research plan was created, and a draft abstract describing our Capstone project was written. We both wanted to highlight women's suffrage during these times and reflect how much has changed over the years.
